“I belong to the stage”

Playing in front of thousands at the Rio de Janeiro Ibirapuera Auditorium, Clarissa Vieira was born to perform. Armed with her acoustic violoncello, or her electric cello, Clarissa is prepared to amaze in a solo or ensemble presentation. Having collaborated with amazing talent throughout her young career, Clarissa Vieira has displayed her work as a member of the Vale Music Youth Orchestra, and the Amazon Cello Choir.

Known affectionately as the Cello Goddess throughout her social media, Clarissa Vieira brings elegance, professionalism, and charm to each performance. Conversely, Clarissa has worked with soloists Joshua Bell, Antônio Menezes, among others, also performing in a master class with famed cellist Lynn Harrell. Most recently, Clarissa has been working closely with famed opera singer, composer, and designer Radmila Lolly.

Having completed her Master’s degree in Cello Performance at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida; Clarissa Vieira has had the wonderful privilege of studying under Professor David Cole. This culmination of studies began as she entered musical studies at the School of Music of Pará State at the age of eleven. This opportunity led to her seat in the Amazon Cello Choir. Absorbing this musical education, and assimilating Brazilian culture, and fashion has bolstered the splendor and grandeur of the Cello into a complete performance.

When asked about her passion for the cello as she spends hours a day sharpening her skills, Clarissa could only remark; “I belong to the stage”. This simple mantra has spurred and accelerated her development in performance, composition, and technique to become a highly sought-after musician for a multitude of projects. Clarissa brings her magnificence to orchestras, weddings, special events, and music videos.
